Edward Urwin, from Doylestown, Pennsylvania, trained at Princeton Ballet School under Douglas Martin, Mary Barton, and Maria Youskevitch. As a student, he danced with ARB in several productions, performing such roles as the “Rat King” and “Fritz” in The Nutcracker. Edward spent a year with Ballet Florida as a trainee, performing in Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante and premiering a pas de deux choreographed by Jerry Opdenaker for the Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival. Edward joined the Louisville Ballet as an apprentice, dancng in many full-length productions. Since joining ARB, Edward has been featured in Patrick Corbin’s Follia, Kirk Peterson’s The Eyes that Gently Touch, and Mary Barton’s Straight Up With a Twist. Edward is also a faculty member at Princeton Ballet School, choreographs local school productions, and has his own photography business, Urwin Photography. Edward has appeared with Opera New Jersey, Boheme Opera NJ as "A-Rab" and "Dream Ballet Tony" in West Side Story
